HOPE • LOVE • JOY • PEACE
Thursday, November 15
Northland Church, The Hub
School is back in session, the holidays – Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas – are upon us, and it’s already “beginning to look a lot like Christmas” in the stores.
We need a pause.
And in that pause, we gather as a family, light a candle, and reflect on the story of Jesus’ birth. Advent is a time when we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christmas and the celebration of Jesus’ birth.
But how do we teach our kids in meaningful ways about Advent?
The Advent Workshop offers ideas for bringing faith-forming practices into the home and encourages the development of a deeper understanding of Advent. Learn how your family can put Christ in the center of your Christmas celebration.
Come for a cocoa bar, desserts and door prizes. Take home a family devotional with activities and plenty of ideas!
Register at adventworkshop2018.eventbrite.com. Childcare through grade 5 is available. Please register for childcare when you sign up for the workshop.
